It’s no secret that high school is stressful. This is because of a number of demands on a student from the various facilitators of the different learning areas. It can seem like one never has any time outside of school—but it is important to de-stress and focus on something besides academics. At First Choice Group of Schools we have an array of clubs that our learners can be part of. These among others include Public Speaking and Debate, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Interact, Toastmasters, Leo, Music and Dance as well as the Cheerleading Club. Joining a high school club is a great way to achieving a better all-round student who can not only be a high flyer in society but also one having a well-rounded portfolio that can improve a learner’s competitiveness in future. At First Choice Group of Schools we believe that a student’s participation in clubs can hone their communication skills, foster creative thinking, and teach them how to work effectively with other people. Extra-curricular involvement is one of the few ways that future employers can gain insights into one’s personality.
